Ladies Conference

Workshops:
Mrs. Gail Gerdt
Gail and her husband have served in full-time Christian service for the last thirty-six years in churches in the mid-west and at Northland International University. For the last five years, they have been at Faith Baptist Church in Longmont where Gail assists in the church office and works with the coordination of ladies’ ministries. The Gerdts have two sons and three grandchildren.

 “Sinking Thinking"
What woman has not been discouraged, disheartened, disillusioned, discontented, distressed, dispirited, or distraught? We are not alone, and we are not without a solution. Paul tells us that when he became a believer, “a severe conflict immediately came . . . [and] never ended, a pressure that was persistent . . . out of which he always emerged through the strength of Jesus Christ." Though the waves of life wash over us, we can emerge victorious and usable.

Mrs. Kaye Dee Richards
Kaye Dee Richards serves the Lord in the music ministry of Red Rocks Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and a Master’s Degree in Music Education. She and her husband Colin served in full time ministry until the Lord called them to evangelistic work. Kaye Dee has been used of the Lord to publish choral music and has trained others to use their musical talents for the Lord in a Christian College, Christian Schools, and private studio. Her burden for the Church has given her a passion for ladies’ ministry, and most recently she founded and serves as editor of The Beautiful Spirit magazine for ladies, which has a world-wide circulation. Her ongoing burden is for Christian women to awaken to their need of Christ, surrender their whole lives to Him, and learn to effectively serve Him. Out of this burden has come a passion for writing women’s Bible Studies, forming discipleship groups, and speaking regularly in ladies’ conferences. Kaye Dee has four delightful children: Joshua, Amelia, Victoria, and her newest addition, Julia. She and her husband Colin have served the Lord together for nearly sixteen years of loving marriage.

The Heart and Art of Hospitality
Hospitality is the art of making someone feel welcome and comfortable-whether in your home or in your church. Hospitality is a gift that comes more easily to some than others. In fact, for some, it can be downright intimidating. But it is something that we all need to practice. The focus of this workshop is to give you some creative-and not so creative!-ideas for making people feel welcome and comfortable.
